A Night to Honor Israel is a non-conversionary tribute to the nation of Israel and the Jewish people of the world sponsored by Christians United for Israel (CUFI). Its purpose is to promote esteem and understanding between Christians and Jews and to emphasize that the beliefs we hold in common are greater than the differences we have allowed to separate us.
God promises in His Word, “I will bless those that bless you and curse those that curse you...” (Genesis 12:3)
Israel is the only nation on the face of the earth created by God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob decreed the boundaries of Israel and gave it to His chosen people, the Jews, for all time. The choice is very clear; Christians can either choose to be a friend of Israel and please the Lord or choose not to support Israel and offend God.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” (Psalm 122:6)
The Word of God to Abraham (Genesis 12:3) and the words of Paul’s letter to the Romans (Romans 15:27) form two strong pillars upon which A Night to Honor Israel is built and why we are participating in this event. It is the prayer of CUFI that this event will foster a new era, not only in Oklahoma, but throughout the country... an era when Christians and Jews stand together, hand-in-hand, shoulder-to-shoulder, and announce to a hostile world that we are united.
It is time for the Jewish people to hear the voices of their friends loud and clear! It is time for us to speak up for Israel. Let our courage and conviction replace complacency, and let that transformation begin today! Join us for this life-changing event that will open your eyes and hearts to the nation of Israel and to the Jewish people. We look forward to seeing you on June 29 at Crossroads Church (SW 89th & Shields)! The service starts at 6:00pm, but doors open at 5:00pm (limited seating). The service is free but a love offering will be taken.
