It is no secret that one of the biggest needs in the church today—all around the world—is well-equipped leadership. Most churches are strapped for good leadership because of a lack of intentional strategies for developing leaders.

To this end, the Workplace and Leadership Ministry was created. Its purpose is to develop and train leaders in the daily application of their God-given gifts, talents and influence, to lead people towards God’s agenda.

First Church has a God-given capacity to engage in whole-life leadership development. It can develop godly character in leaders—both inside and outside our local church—and help them forge a strong theological worldview, while building strong relational and leadership skills. Our local church is by design the most effective incubator of spiritual leaders on the planet!

What's more, the vision of the Workplace and Leadership Ministry is the elimination of the prevalent non-Biblical divisions of the sacred and secular, ministry and business, priest and employee. Only then will the one Christ be lifted up in every way, in every place, by every person, in every role they play in life.
