Our church is a church for real people. People who are honest about their struggles. People who don't think of themselves as better than others. Real people. People from every ethnic background. Every economic level. Every education level. Every age group. Every cultural expression. People who are looking for answers to their problems. We don't see ourselves as a luxury resort for saints, but as a successful rehab place for sinners.

Real lives.

Rehab is not possible without hope. Hope abounds at First Church. Our hope is for transformation and change. We not only believe that God loves us just as we are but that He loves us too much to leave us that way! He wants us to find real life in Him that translates into REAL LIVES lived for Him.

Real love.

The source of our hope is the REAL LOVE of Jesus Christ. So many people are looking for love in all the wrong places. Jesus' love is absolute, unconditional, and eternal. Therefore, it is the most real love of all. When you come to know and experience that unconditional love, it will change your life forever. That "forever" family is what First Church is all about.

Our sole purpose, then, as a church is to help real people find real life through the real love of Jesus Christ.
